17 FDC Election Monitors in Gulu Granted Bail

Seventeen election monitors for the FDC's Mp-elect for Gulu Municipality Christopher Acire, who were arrested on February 18th have been granted court bail.



The suspects were picked from various polling stations in Gulu Municipality during the Presidential and Parliamentary election over allegation of interfering with election process.



They were accordingly charged with interfering with election process and remanded to Gulu central prison.



They reappeared in Court today afternoon where they were granted cash bail of 50,000 shillings each.



Grade 1 Magistrate Susan Acior asked them to report back to court on March 29th this year.
