Molly Mutanzindwa, Returning Officer Kampala has summoned supervisors of elections in the city divisions over disputed parish councilor's poll results.
Mutanzidwa decided to summon the election supervisors after losers in the parish councilor's election petitioned her office claiming that the results from their areas has been falsified to hand their NRM rivals victory.
The petitioners are Leila Nansanga from Kabowa I parish, Ben Mugerwa from Kabowa II, Muhamad Kajubi from Kiswa, Halim Kimera from Mutundwe, Aisha Nalubega from Lungunja and Henry Mukalazi from Mutundwe parish.
They claim that the tally sheets from their polling stations indicate that they defeated their rivals but they were shocked when their rivals were declared elected.
Aisha Nalubega who contested the Lungunjja Women parish councilor's seat accuses the division supervisor of refusing to give her the result declaration form.
As a result Molly Mutanzidwa has summoned the division supervisors to her office tomorrow to explain the anomaly.
Mutanzindwa has asked the candidates to remain clam until she hears from the election supervisors.
But Caleb Nahamya, the returning officer of Lubaga Division says that some of the candidates lost but have only refused to concede defeat.
