President Yoweri Museveni was humiliated this Morning when one of the participants attending the Mindspeak forum in Nairobi, shot up and interrupted the president's speech.
The man identified only as Benji, an activist in Kenya, shot up from the audience at Kenya's Intercontinenatl hotel, just as President Museveni was delivering his speech and demanded to know why he should listen to him, when Uganda is on fire.
The man was quoted by the Reuters News agency asking; “Mr. President, how can we as Kenyans sit here and listen to you while you have been brutalizing Ugandans?"
But before Museveni, who is on a one-day private visit to Nairobicould answer; the man was whisked away by the president’s security detail. President Museveni resumed his speech on Social economic transformation and the East African federation.
Five people were killed and more than 100 people injured in Friday’s clash between the police and the protesters.
