MP Elections Suspended in Apac

The Electoral Commission has suspended parliamentary elections in Oyam South county, Apac district.
This is because details of one of the 3 candidates were missing on the ballot paper.
Details of Patrick Ogwang, who standing on the National Resistance Movement ticket re missing on the ballot paper, making the vote unfair, said District Registrar Charles Ejimu.
But the details of the other 2 candidates, Okullo Epak and Gladys Alele correctly appeared on the ballot paper.
Lira district returning officer Charles Ejimu says Ogwang registered at the Electoral Commission headquarters in Kampala because his the name on his voter's card differed from the one on his academic papers.
He says Electoral Commission will reschedule the vote.
