Two prisoners at Kamuli prisons were shot on Monday in a foiled escape attempt.
 
Paul Mugendawala and Musa Musobya, both jailed for defilement were shot in the legs as they tried to attempt from the prison warders during community work at Kamuli district.
 
The two men have been admitted at Rubaga hospital, in Kamuli district.

Musa Nabende, Kamuli district police commander says the two will be taken back to court as soon as they are discharged from hospital.
