Kamuli in Child HIV Campaign

Dr Dina Nakigandamade, the District health officer, said child health is critical and children who are HIV positive need closer attention.
Kamuli District has launched a Pediatric HIV Counseling and Communication campaign, intended to reach out to the children who are HIV positive.

Commissioning the the Pediatric health Workers Army at Malamu Center, the Health officer said that the Health workers army will play a vital role of providing frequent outreaches and routine monitoring.
 
She called for closer relations with the community and technical skills to have the children tested, counseled and safely delivered without inciting stigma.
 
The Pediatric Communication and HIV Campaign is supported by Global Fund and Ministry of health.
