Posta Bus shot at by Armed thugs in Masindi

A Posta Uganda passenger bus, was Tuesday morning shot at in Murro, 15 miles on the Masindi-Hoima road.

The Masindi District Police Commander, Michael Mugabi says that the bus was shot at by thugs who had staged a fake roadblock.

He says that thugs fired bullets and deflated the rear tyres of the posta bus after the driver refused to stop at the fake road block.

Mugabi says that no one was killed or injured by the bullets.

This incident comes barely a week after armed men shot and injured 10 passengers in Budongo forest, some 25 miles west of Masindi town.
