One person has been killed along the Jinja – Iganga highway.
Malik Mwambazi,of Bugembe town council in Jinja was riding a motorcycle registration number UDJ 292 N, when he was knocked by a taxi omnibus registration number UAN 192 S at Wanyama village in Bugembe town council.
The accident occured on Thursday afternoon.
Dickson Rugundana, the Jinja Officer in Charge of Traffic says the accident occurred after a bicycle man rammed into the road, forcing the rider of the motorcycle to veer off into the lane that was being used by the taxi omnibus.
