Television station owners in Lira town say, that the constant power outages are frustrating their efforts to provide relevant programs to the viewers.
The station manager of TV WA, a catholic owned television station, says that frequent power cuts have undermined their competitive edge over the other TV station.
Sr. Joe Nalubega says that the power cuts, have also affected the stations ability to attract viewers and potential advertisers.
