78 Dead in South Sudan Cattle Raid

It says unidentified men from Mayendit County in neighboring Unity State are reported to have suddenly attacked a cattle camp in an area known as Bul early this week.
 A cattle raid in Warrap State, South Sudan has left 78 people dead and 40,000 without livelihoods, the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) has said.

It says unidentified men from Mayendit County in neighboring Unity State are reported to have suddenly attacked a cattle camp in an area known as Bul early this week.

OHCHR Spokesman, Rupert Colville, says the attack which reportedly targeted villages belonging mainly to the Luac Jang ethnic community also left 72 people wounded and nine missing.
