He told URN reporter on Monday morning that before committing suicide, his father had become rude to an extent of chasing all family members from the main house and changing all locks to deny them entry into the house.
Nkiina revealed that at around 1:00am they had a loud explosion in the main house and when he came out, he found that the main house was on fire. Nkina then moved to alert neighbours to come in and help but it was already too late as the deceased had already been burnt beyond recognition.

The District Police Commander, Bosco Arop confirmed the incident and said that Police is still carrying out investigations.
James Nsaba, a neighbor to the Nkiina family said that the late had on several occasions threatened to wipe out all his family alleging that they mistreat him because of his disability.
Speaking to the press shortly after visiting the scene, the Kabale Resident District Commissioner, Cox Nayakiru advised residents to always report any suspected cases of insanity in any family members before catastrophe befalls them.
