A pack of foxes has mauled a student of Bowa Vocational Institute in Wobulenzi in Luweero
district.
Teddy Nakyanzi, was rushed to Baseenene clinic, shortly after she was attacked by foxes on her back from the grazing grounds in Buteke village.
She claims that she was attacked by three foxes, which later fled to Kyalugondo village.
Reports from Kyalugondo show that another woman was attacked by a pack of foxes while she performed her house chores.
Katikamu subcounty deputy speaker, Miria Katende, says that the foxes could have been running away from the wild fires that have destroyed their habitats in recent times.
Luweero District Police Commander Samuel Bamuzibire says the victims should be evacuated to Kiwoko hospital for better treatment.
Bamuzibire says his office has asked the Vermin control unit and the wild life Authority to intervene and control possible attacks.
