Two injured in Crane Mishap at Bank of Uganda Currency Center

Davis Bantarina, the technical manager, Pearl Engineering Company, told this reporter on Sunday that the Crane gave away at 9.30 am on Sunday after heavy down pour and two workers were injured.
Two workers were injured and several others escaped unhurt when a crane supporting the construction of Bank of Uganda Currency center  in Kabale town, gave away due to a heavy down pour.
 
The crane hat consisting of many jointed iron bars, gave away as hundred of workers were trying to seal a wall to the Bank of Uganda project.
 
Davis Bantarina, the technical manager, Pearl Engineering Company, told this reporter on Sunday that the Crane gave away at 9.30 am on Sunday after heavy down pour and two workers were injured.
 
The injured are Johnson Kamugisha and Norman Maanzi, both casual workers. They were rushed to Rugarama health centre were they got first aid and later discharged 
 
Bantarina says no one was injured in the incident. The incident had earlier been kept away from the police attention and Elly Maate, the Police spokes man said this was inappropriate action.
 
Pear Engineering Company was contracted to construct the 13 million dollar Bank of Uganda currency centre in South Western Uganda.
