Poor access to water points and a weak sanitation infrastructure, is pushing Makobore High school in Rukungiri district into a fix and chances are high that the students could be asked to go home.
Dr. Edison Mutahigwa, the district health officer, says the absence of water at the school is putting the lives of students at risk.
Students are finding it increasingly difficult to get water for bathing and personal hygiene.
Mutahingwa warns that the school operating in dilapidated structures could be closed down.
