Sheikh Abdu Khai Mukiibi, the Deputy Mufti of Uganda has been injured critically in a motor accident. Mukiibi was involved in a head on collusion on Thursday afternoon with a Rav 4 vehicle at Matuga along Bombo-Luweero highway while driving to Kampala in his vehicle registration number UAH 963Q.
He sustained a fractured arm and dislocation on the hips. Omar Wesswa, the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council Youth coordinator says that sheikh Mukiibi was rushed to Mulago Hospital where he was admitted in ward 3 B. Sheikh Imran Ssali, the personal assistant to the Deputy says that the life of sheikh Mukiibi is out of danger.
He told URN on phone that immediately, sheikh Mukhai arrived at Mulago doctors there fixed his hip bone and attended to his broken arm. By the time of filing this story, the deputy Mufti had been returned from the theatre to word to recover.
