UWF President Paul Mark Kayongo said they are going to work so hard to solicit for sponsorship to make the trip because it will give the players good exposure. According to the invitation signed by Jin Zhi on behalf of China International Sports Exchange Center, the hosts will meet the costs of all participating teams.
Last year, Uganda hosted an International Woodball Championship which attracted players from Taiwan, China, Taipei, Kenya, and Indonesia among others. Uganda also has an International tournament on the World Woodball calendar.
