After managing a hard fought 1-all draw away to Angola on Sunday evening, the Uganda Cranes team return tomorrow and head straight to camp to prepare for their next game on Saturday.

The Cranes face giants Senegal in Namboole Stadium, in a game they must win if they are to brighten their chances of making it to the next round of the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

Rogers Mulindwa, spokesman for the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) told URN this morning that the team will fly back on Tuesday evening and resume training on Wednesday morning.

Mulindwa said as a Federation they are very happy with the performance of the team in their away draw to Angola and called upon Ugandans to come in big numbers to cheer the team on Saturday. While Uganda Cranes managed a draw last weekend, star studded Senegal picked a convincing 3-1 victory over Liberia which puts them top of the group.

Meanwhile, the thirteen Cranes players who did not travel to Angola were expected to resume training this morning at Namboole stadium under the watchful eyes of assistant Coach Leo Adraa.

The players who stayed behind include Geoffrey Massa, Brian Umony, Isaac Isinde, and Mudde Musa. The others are Sula Matovu, Ochaya Joseph, Abel Dhaira, Edward Ssali, Joseph Owino, Yasin Mugabi, Ali Kimera, Robert Ssentongo and Ceaser Okhuti.
