Police have discovered two decomposing bodies of unidentified girls. They were discovered on Thursday morning in an abandoned house in Manyoyi village upper village in Bumagani parish of Bungokho Sub County. The two bodies bore deep cuts on their necks, heads and the faces.

Rashid Sakwa, the LC I chairman of Manyoyi village told Uganda Radio Network that he was informed of the brutal murder by Robert Wabende, the owner of the house where the bodies were found.

He said prior to the discovery of the bodies, one of the neighbors Michael Mwase kept asking him to visit the area but didn’t tell him what had occurred.

The LC I chairman suspects that the victims were killed on Tuesday night.

Diana Ndawula, the Eastern Regional Police Public Relations Officer says the victims were between the ages of 18 and 22. Their bodies were retrieved and taken to the Mbale District Public Mortuary.

She says a man identified Mabonga aka STEADY who has been occupying house where the abandoned bodies were found is a prime suspect.

She says preliminary police’s investigation report indicates that Mabonga was seen with the girls on Monday in a night club.
