Godwin Ahimbisibwe, the national coach of 2012 London athletics team is optimistic that his runners will put up a good show this time around. Ahimbisibwe says that he is happy with the way the athletes have been training and hopes that they win more medals compared to the past.

He told URN in exclusive interview that despite the fact that it has taken Uganda many years to win medals at the Olympics after John Aki Bua and Davis Kamoga, this is the time to get back in winning ways. Uganda has already qualified 13 field and track athletes for the games including the 2011 Commonwealth Games double gold medalist Moses Kipsiro.
