Uganda’s Moses Golola has said he is ready to prove to his opponent on Friday that he is a better kick boxer in the region.

The loud-mouthed and comic Golola who lost to Hungarian Andras Nagy last year will face another opponent from Hungary, Matte Szamboki, in a 75 kilogram super middle-weight bout on Friday at the Kyandodo Rugby Club.

Golola told URN says that he is more than ready to show what a better fighter he has become.

After his loss to Nagy on December 9th last year, Golola parted ways with his promoter Patrick Kanyomozi over money issues and is now being handled by music promoter Baram Barugahare. Reports indicate that the promoter has already made a down payment of 10 million shillings to Golola, while the winner will also bag a similar amount.

The 32 -year old Golola, who holds the East and Central African kickboxing title together with the African super middle weight kickboxing belt, said he has been praying to God to give him such a chance to battle a top opponent and he will make sure he wins the fight.

He repeated his favourite line that he not a joking subject and that people will prove this when he kicks Szamboki out. But Szamboki who boasts of 19 wins from 25 fights said on Tuesday afternoon that Golola will have no chance against him, adding that he did not travel from Hungary to come and lose to Golola.

As Golola prepares for his International fight, local kick boxers Titus Tugume and Malik Kalisa are also preparing for a fight next month.
