Ugandan kick-boxer Moses Golola is proving to be a cat with nine lives. In spite of two losses on the international stage, Golola has now attracted the eye of American promoters.
Musician Ragga Dee told Uganda Radio Network in an interview on Monday evening that American business partners in the country have already started helping Golola. Ragga Dee argues that Golola is a big brand and all he needs is good promotion and training, which is why he has decided to try and help kick-boxer’s flagging career.
He said they have decided to solicit for funds to send Golola for training with Philip Ndugga, a trainer based in Canada so that the kick-boxer can improve ahead of a big International fight.
Although Golola recently lost two professional fights to Hungary’s Andras Nagy and Mate Zsamboki, the promoters think with good training, the Ugandan kick-boxer can become a star. Ragga Dee and the yet-to-be named promoters claim that they will not hurry Golola back into the ring but will concentrate on consolidating his strengths in training.

Cue out:...everything done.”//
He also said it is high time promoters stopped jumping to make money from sportsmen and women when they are not well prepared. Ragga Dee explained that Ndugga, a qualified kick-boxing trainer who is currently in the country on holiday, has accepted to train Golola in the best gyms in Canada before a fight is fixed.
Golola is currently ranked 20th as per the World Kickboxing body rankings, although other Ugandans Ronald Mugula (16) and Titus Tugume (17) are ranked ahead of him.
As Golola tries to get back to winning ways, another fighter in Ghana wants to have a fight against him. According to the World Kickboxing website, the Ghana kickboxing president Lawrence Nyanyo said Golola should travel to Acrra, Ghana in November to face their star Stephen Abbey.
