Sports Club Victoria skipper Nestory Kizito has said he is planning a return to the paid ranks in Serbia come June 2013.
Kizito was a strong part of the Cranes team from 2001 when he made his debut before quitting unceremoniously in 2011 after the team failed to beat arch rivals Kenya to qualify for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.
The defender told Uganda Radio Network in a telephone interview on Monday night that after returning to the local League since last year, he has now put several things in place and is ready to get back to the paid ranks.
The former FK Partizan said although he will return to Europe, he is enjoying it here in the local League.
Kizito however noted that although he is enjoying it here, the going has not been that smooth as injury has kept him out of many of the matches. The player said that a muscle strain had side-lined him for a time but he should be able to captain his team against Entebbe FC on Friday.
Before heading for the paid ranks in 2004, the defender featured for SC Villa 2000-2004.
The player said he has also used the time at home to sort out a number of family issues. The 30 year old believes with the home front stable, he is ready to return to Europe.
His SC Victoria team that joined the top Elite League this season is placed third behind Vipers and KCCA FC.
Besides featuring for FK Partizan till last year and FK Srem, Kizito also played for FK Vojvodina in 2005.
