G6 Collapse Could Cost DP, UPC Positions on Opposition Shadow Cabinet

Politics
Opposition Members of Parliament from the Uganda People's Congress and Democratic Party may miss out on positions in the shadow cabinet in the 8th Parliament.
The Forum for Democratic Change which has majority MPs in the House is expected to appoint the shadow cabinet.
FDC spokesman, Wafula Oguttu says the party is at a loss on how to relate to DP and UPC both in and outside Parliament following the two parties' withdrawal from the loose opposition alliance, the G6.

The FDC National Executive resolution was made at a meeting last week but until today, Besigye is yet to meet the Presidents of the two parties.
Only the Justice Forum Party- JEEMA-, among parties that have MPs in the house has remained a member of G6. But JEEMA has only one MP in the 8th Parliament, Makindye East MP Hussein Kyanjo.
The other MPs from both UPC and DP who worked closely with FDC run as independents.
Wafula says the Shadow cabinet will be announced after the national cabinet has been announced.
