Museveni Tightens Grip on Opposition Defectors

President Museveni has tightened his grip on opposition politicians who crossed to the National Resistance Movement by rewarding them with cabinet posts.
President Museveni has re-appointed his childhood friend, Eriya Kategeya, whom he sacked three years ago. Kategeya was sacked after he openly criticized Museveni's controversial but ultimately successful quest for a third term in office.
