Atubo Strict On Land Conflicts

News

The newly appointed minister for Lands, housing and urban development, Daniel Omara Atubo, says that his main task will be to ensure that cases of land conflicts are minimized.

Speaking to residents of Lira town, Atubo said that land conflicts have been a major setback to development and productivity in Uganda.

He noted that most of the land conflicts have been fuelled by ignorance both on the part of the land owners tenants and squatters.

Atubo said that his main task will be to ensure that every Ugandan is sensitized about the land laws, in order to maintain harmony on land related matters.
