Masaka Man Rapes 65-Year-Old Woman

Police in Masaka have arrested a 22-year-old man for raping a 65-year-old woman.

The Masaka Criminal Investigations Officer, Musa Kirenzi, says Joseph Kiggundu a resident of Kayirira village, in Kabonera sub-county attacked the woman at her home on Saturday night.

Kirenzi says police have recorded a slight increase in the number of rape cases in the district. 10 rape cases were recorded in July compared to seven in June.
