Shadow Cabinet Minister Wants President's Office moved from Parliamentary Building

News
The Shadow Cabinet Minister for the Presidency and Anti Corruption, Christopher Kibanzanga, says the Office of the President and Vice President should vacate the Parliamentary Building to create more office space for the growing number of MPs.
The Parliamentary Sergeant-at-Arms, Ahmed Kagoye, recently said that Parliament needs 139 extra offices to accommodate all the parliamentarians. There are more than 400 Members Parliament and the number will increase with new districts being created.
Kibanzanga argues that instead of Parliament spending money renting extra office space for the MPs, the President and his Vice should vacate their offices in the Parliamentary Building to create room for the MPs. The President's Office and the Vice President's office occupy about 50 offices in the Parliamentary Buildings.
The Minister of Presidency, Beatrice Wabudeya says the matter will be discussed with the Parliamentary Commission soon.
