FDC Demonstrators in Soroti Demand Besigye's Release

FDC Supporters in Soroti have taken to the streets to demand the unconditional release of Dr. Kiiza Besigye.



The protestors led by Soroti District Youth Councilor, Peter Odikor, have blocked the Mbale-Soroti Road and are reporting to be stopping bicycle riders and demanding that they join the demonstration. The group is also chanting anti-Museveni slogans.



Uganda Radio Network spoke to a cross-section of the Soroti protestors.
