Kabale Court Bailiffs in Court Over Malicious Damage

A Kabale District court Bailiff, has been charged in court with malicious damage of property.
Paul Atuhaire was dragged to court by Onesimus Rutaro a farmer, who accused him of damaging his house and property worth millions of shillings.
Kabale Magistrates court presided over by Francis Nkuruziza, heard that Atuhaire accompanied with a gang of court brokers, besieged Rutaro's home in Bukinda Trading center, forced his children out and started destroying his house.
Rutaro says that the Bailiffs acted ruthlessly after he failed to produce the money required to repay a bank loan.
Atuhaire however denied the charges and was granted cash bail of 70,000 shillings.
He was asked to re-appear in court on February 2nd.
