The High Court in Kampala has issued production warrants for 11 suspected members of the Peoples Redemption Army (PRA).
The high court Criminal Registrar, Roy Byaruhanga, has instructed prison authorities to produce the suspects on Wednesday, to attend the hearing of a State application seeking to block their release.
Last week, the Solicitor General, Lucien Tibaruha, filed an application asking the High Court to review its decision to grant the suspects bail. The Principal Judge, Justice James Ogoola subsequently allocated the file to High Court Judge, Justice Elidard Mwangusya.
The suspects lawyers walked out of last week's Court session saying they could not be party to participating in an application that seeks to undermine Court orders.
Yusuf Nsibambi, One of the Defence lawyers insists the suspect's legal team will also boycott tomorrow's Court session. Nsibambi says he has not been served with summons to attend Court and that attending would legitimize an illegality.
The High Court had earlier issued instructions to Prisons authorities to produce the suspects in court which have on four occasions gone unheeded.
Nsibambi describes Court's decision to issue another order as a mockery to their clients because the State application is intended to cancel their bail.
The suspects include Joseph Musasizi, a brother to Forum for Democratic President Kiiza Besigye.
