Super League new comers, Youfra Football Club, have added the experience of Victors FC assistant coach, Richard Amatre, to their squad to help their young team have the edge when the National Super League begins later this year. Camilo Otim, the Director of the Lira-based Youfra FC, said Amatre signed a two year contract with the club yesterday. He did not disclose the fee involved in the contract. Otim said it is hoped that Youfra will benefit from Amatre's experience in the league, which enabled Victors FC to finish 5th in last season's campaign. He added that the ultimate goal is that Amatre would help to propel the debutants towards the title in a campaign that comes to a close in December. Amatre who rose up the ranks at Victors FC before making his mark on the national stage, said he had tendered in his resignation to the Jinja side. He did not explain the reason for his move. Amatre's resignation followed a similar move by his immediate boss at the club, Sula Kato, who recently also joined SC Villa.
