In short
It consists of six men, all from one family, whose descent is traced from the white colobus monkey clan. The clan is responsible for thatching the palace’s royal houses and resting places of the deceased kings. Although they are allowed to recruit others to set up poles, they are the only ones allowed to thatch the main house; Muzibu Azaala Mpanga, the dome-like shaped main building at the site.
