Kampala City Council [KCC] has this evening displaced sports club Villa from the top spot in the GTV super league after defeating Nalubaale FC 3-2. Jeremiah Sebuyira put the city lads in the lead, before Nalubaale's, Emmanuel Balyejusa and Gerald Etiti scored two goals to put their team in the lead by the end of half time. However, Nalubaale's victory was shot lived after Vincent Kayizi and Omonyi Brian scored the second and third goals that put KCC in the lead. K.C.C now tops the league table with 40 points S.C Villa in the 2nd place with 39 points and Simba F.C in the 3rd place with 35 points. The first round league matches end this Sunday, but their results will not in any way change the positions of the leading three teams. The league is to resume January next year after the CECAFA tournament.
