Suspected child trafficker dies at Tororo hospital

A man suspected to have been trafficking children from Manafwa district has died at Tororo hospital where he had been admitted for burns he sustained after a mob set him on fire. Angry residents of Lwaboba village in Busiu Sub County of Mbale district set Geoffrey Byaruhanga on fire after he was caught red handed trying to traffic a young boy. Byaruhanga 27 a resident of Namatala ward in Mbale municipality is said to have successfully trafficked two children who are yet to be recovered. Police is still hunting for the missing children. The acting administrator of Tororo hospital James Ogwang says Byaruhanga died because of multiple injuries and burns. Byaruhanga's body is currently lying at Tororo Main hospital. Ogwang says if no body claims the body within the next three days they will be forced to burry it in the Municipal cemetery.
