Kikonyongo blasted government for treating fires across the country casually yet people continue losing property and lives. He says several markets and school have been burnt across the country but government has never issued a conclusive report on the fires.

Kikonyongo cited Budo Junior and 61 markets which were burnt between 2008 -2009 yet to government it is business as usual. He appeals to government to release reports into their inquiry in the fires as bring all the culprits to book.
