In this week’s Newz Beat, a Ugandan researcher wins the prestigious 2016 Elsevier Foundation Award for her pioneering work with HIV patients. Dr. Etheldreda Nakimuli‐Mpungu has been working with Ugandan HIV patients who battle depression on top of the illness and has brought attention to this little researched stumbling block to better treatment.
