Police in Gulu have arrested 32 people in an overnight operation on Thursday.
  
The suspects were picked up from Lacor trading centre, For god, Negri and Wii-Aworanga villages in Bardege division, Gulu municipality.
  
Patrick Jimmy Okema, the Aswa River police spokesperson says the operation was meant to crack down on high rate of crimes in the area.
  
Okema says Police registered 15 cases of burglary, gambling and theft amongst others from the areas this month alone. He says some of the suspects will be charged for being rouges and vagabond after they were found without proper identification documents.
 
At the time of filing this report, the suspects were still being screened at Gulu central Police station.
