Adhola Kingdom Gets New Cabinet

The Adhola Cultural Institution leader his highness Kwar Adhola Moses Stephen Owori has announced a new cabinent which he says will guide the institution in creating efficiency and improving service delivery.

The new Cabinet was unveiled on Sunday at a function held at his palace in Amagoro village in the Eastern division of Tororo municipality. Kwar Adhola said the reshuffle was aimed at bringing fresh intellect on board.

Dr. Joa Jakeno Okech-Ojony was appointed the Kingdom’s Prime Minister also known as Jago. He replaces Raphael Owere Onyango who has been dropped.

Former RDC Thomas Okoth Nyalulu is appointed first deputy Prime Minister, Dr. Thomas Ochar- A medical superintendent is appointed health Minister while Vincent Okoth Ogola Mboti- is the new finance Minister.

Others are Mark Olweny Omall, appointed minister for external relations, Prof. PG Okoth- minister for culture, heritage and special envoy to Luo union Kenya among others.

 Kwar Adhola told a press briefing that some of the dropped members had vested interest in participating in politics a move which is not in tandem with the institution’s constitution.  The constitution bars its leadership from engaging in partisan politics.
