Five matches will be on card on Saturday when the 2015/2016 Azam Uganda Premier League kicks-off.

The Defending champions SC Vipers under coach Edward Golola will host newly promoted The Saints at their Buikwe Stadium, while Sadolin Paints FC will face KCCA FC at the Bugembe Stadium.

KCCA FC, fresh from the regional Cecafa Kagame Club Championships where they finished third in Tanzania will be eager to make a winning start as they try to capture the trophy they lost to SC Vipers.

Sam Ssimbwa, one of KCCA FC coaches told URN that they will not underrate any team because this is a League and all teams want to start well.

At the Wankulukuku Stadium Mike Mutyaba will be the centre of attraction as he leads Express FC against Police FC. The attacking midfielder who played for SC Vipers last season joined his former team on a free transfer.

The other two matches on card will see Soana FC host Bright Stars at the Kavumba Recreation Stadium, while Bidco Fc take on Lweza FC.

The League will however start without financial input from the sponsors Azam Pay TV Mauritius. Court on Friday stopped either Fufa or league organisers FSL from accessing the money from the sponsors till the matter on who should receive the money is sorted out next week.
