Kiiza Besigye, the IPC presidential candidate may be forced to capaign without public speakers, after the team transporting the equipment got stuck at Kirongo Landing site. The team led by Betty Namboze, the Incumbent Mukono North Member of Parliament, is unable to proceed to Buvuma trading center, after the district administration heaped murram along the road. Nambooze traveling in a Toyota Land Cruiser, left Kiyindi land site in Buikwe, by ferry and landed at Kirongo landing site. But her team, which had also been joined by Journalists from the New Vision, could not proceed, because the road was covered by heaps of murram stretching over two kilometers inland. Nambooze was traveling in a convoy, comprising a lorry carrying Dr. Besigye's public address system and platform. Nambooze is traveling with Dr. Mohammed Nviri, the aspiring Member of Parliament for Buvuma Constituency. Peter Njuba, Nambooze's personal assistant, explained that Nambooze was expected to address a number of rallies, on her way to Buvuma trading center. Nambooze however took time to address a rally at Kirongo landing site. Her campaign team was by 10:00am this morning, trying to get a way of wading through the murram in time for Besigye's rally in Buvuma. Dr. Besigye traveled this morning by s speedboat from Entebbe to Lubya landing site in Buvuma district.
