One of Uganda's hottest boxing prospects, Badru iThe Strikeri Lusambya, has signed a long-term deal with Australian boxing manager, Stuart Duncan, hat will see him training under world-renown trainers, David Hedgcock and Ray Giles. As a Junior Middleweight champion, Lusambya notched up 14 wins from 14 outings with 13 knock outs. The big punching Ugandan had 36 amateur fights winning them all. Lusambya will reside and train at Duncan's training Camp iTroopersi in Victoria, Australia. In a statement issued today, Duncan said the signing couldn't have come at a better time. He said Lusambya is a perfect sparring mate for world ranked middle weight boxer, Sam Soliman. Soliman is also signed with Duncan. Lusambya was groomed at club level in Uganda. The Uganda amateur boxing circuit has produced some of the finest Junior Middleweight Champions in the world including the big hitting John ithe beasti Mugabi, five-time World Boxing Association Champion Ayub Kalule and Kassim iThe Dreami Ouma.
