Azam Uganda Premier League side, Bidco FC have appointed Frank Anyau as their new head coach.

The Jinja based club confirmed on Wednesday that the coach has signed a two year contract. The development comes after Alex Isabirye resigned last week as coach of the team.

After the Wednesday evening training session, club chairman Silver Aliaisi disclosed to the players about the new developments at the club  before introducing the coach to the players .
 "I am delighted that Anyau has agreed to become our new head Coach. He has an outstanding reputation for his technical knowledge of the game," said the club chairman.

Aliaisi said the new coach shares the Bidco FC long-term ambitions and ethics of developing players and nurturing young talent.

Speaking after his appointment, Anyau said he is happy to join Bidco FC. "Bidco FC is a great club with a strong tradition and fantastic support," he added.

Anyau said he is happy he shares the same views with the Chairman and the club executive members he held discussion with.

The new coach who was part of SC Villa's technical bench last season will be assisted by former Uganda Cranes striker David Kiwanuka and goalkeeping coach Fred Lumu.
