Mugiiga wants Government to increase youth funding both at the district and national level to enable hundreds of Jobless youths to get something to survive on.

Youths in Buhweju are up in arms against government and the district leadership for allegedly marginalizing them in development programs. Lawrence Ndyahurwa Mugiiga, a youth councilor from Bitsya Sub County says youth have not benefited from various government funded projects like NAADS because of the tough conditions set for the beneficiaries.

He claims that youths are not provided for under the NAADS program because they don’t have land, which is one of the requirements before one is included on the program. Mugiiga wants Government to increase youth funding both at the district and national level to enable hundreds of Jobless youths to get something to survive on.
