Chief Juma Luba Munulo of Bunya Chiefdom in Mayuge district says Busoga is not ready to accept a king illegally elected to office in disregard to a constitutional court injunction.
Chief Luba a Jinja based advocate, stormed out of the elections early today.
Edward Columbus Muloki Wako swept the polls taking all the seven votes of the chiefs who took part in the election.
Three other chiefs including Chief Gabula William of Bugabula chiefdom, Christopher James Mutyaba Nkono formely the acting Isebantu and Fred Menha Kakaire of Bugweri stayed away from the polls.
Patrick Izimba Gologolo of Kigulu was barred by court from the elections. Cheif Luba says the Basoga will go to court to challenge, Edward Columbus Wako Muloki's election.

On Thursday this week, the constitutional court issued an injunction stopping the elections until court dispenses all petitions challenging the elections.
However the kingdom's spokesman Michael Kifubangabo said the elections would go as planed because the kingdom had not received any court orders.
Chief Luba blames the chiefs for the mishaps in the elections.

In a ceremony at Nakabango palace attended by hundreds of his fans, the newly elected Kyabazinga Edward Columbus Muloki in a two minutes speech, called for unity among all the Basoga to achieve progress.
Muloki polled seven votes to take the cultural leadership of Busoga. However Luba says the seven votes were below quorum.
Kategere Thomas, the district speaker of kamuli District says secession is now a possibility.

The election of a successor to the late Isebantu Kyabazinga, Henry Wako Muloki, who died of cancer on September 1, initially scheduled for October 3, was postponed due to lack of a clear candidates nomination procedure.
The Jinja Resident District Commissioner Apollo Bwambale has assured the new Kyabazinga of all the necessary security in order to have a successful reign.
