City Oilers To Face Kenya's USIU In Semis

Uganda's City Oilers will this evening face Kenyan University side USIU 's in the second semi final at the on-going FIBA Zone 5 Basketball Championship in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Coach Mande Juruni's team City Oilers on Wednesday beat Rwanda's ESPIOR 74-34 to book a place in the last four.

Stanley Ocitti made 18 points while shooting guard Ben Komakech picked 18 points for the Oilers. For the Rwanda side Bienvenue Ngandu made 13 points. Debutants Rwanda Patriots were the first team to qualify for the semis.

Meanwhile, Uganda Christian University Lady Canons also stopped Tanzanian side JKT  73-35 on Wednesday. They will face Ubunwe (Rwanda) in a group game on Thursday.
