The head coach of CNaps FC, Patric Randriambololona Tipeh has warned Uganda's KCCA FC ahead of the crucial return leg of the preliminary round in the CAF Total Champions League.
KCCA FC will host the Madagascar team on Wednesday at the StarTimes Stadium hoping their avenge leg 2-1 defeat.
"We are here to eject KCCA FC and qualify for the next round of the Champions League. I know playing away is always tough, but they have an artificial playing surface just like us," Tipeh told URN on Tuesday.
The Madagascar League champions arrived in Uganda on Monday morning and have been given chance to use the Stadium twice by the hosts.
" We are here to get a good result and qualify to the next round," said Francis Rafaralahy, scorer of the second goal in the first leg in Antananarivo.
But KCCA FC head coach Mike Hillary Mutebi whose target this year is to qualify for the group stage of the lucrative champions League said that his team will have to take it's chances. " I trust my boys will do the work on our home ground, but we need to approach the game with lots of caution," added Mutebi.
The Uganda Premier League champions KCCA FC carry a lot of confidence after they beat rivals SC Villa 1-0 last Thursday and also qualified for the round of 16 of the knock out Uganda Cup on Sunday after stopping Simba SC 2-1.
Mutebi will welcome striker Derrick Nsibambi who has been out injured, while midfielder Muzamir Mutyaba and now Saddam Juma and Julius Poloto will miss the game.
