The Cecafa Champions are in the same position with Saudi Arabia and Qatar, while world champions Spain have maintained their lead on the standings ahead of Holland who moved to second place. Germany fell back to third place in the rankings released in Zurich, Switzerland on Wednesday.
 
Didier Drogba’s Cote d’Ivoire remained the highest ranked African nation at number 15, while the Black Stars of Ghana are 23rd and the Desert Fennecs of Algeria at 35th.
 
Harambee Stars of Kenya moved 10 places to 113 after their recent win over Togo in the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, while Rwanda also moved two places better to number 105.
 
Congo Brazzaville were one of the biggest movers after climbing 29 places to 101 and Sudan who took part at this year’s Africa Cup of Nations are in 110 position.
 
Meanwhile, FUFA has demanded that Uganda Super League (USL) players be present before the local soccer governing body can sign their contracts. FUFA spokesman Rogers Mulindwa says they will only sign the contracts when all parties especially the players are present.
