But the home side threw more troops in Uganda’s half and Eric Nsabimana made no msiatke picking the equalizer. The draw against Uganda, the best ranked team in the region was vital for Rwanda Coach Sredejovic who has lately come under fire.

In the other International friendly played in the region, Tanzania shocked the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon 1-0. After a first half penalty miss, DR Congo based Mbwana Samata scored the winner in the dying minutes of the game.
