Uganda Cranes skipper Andrew Mwesigwa is concerned following reports that angry football fans attacked his home after Uganda's loss to Guinea on Wednesday.

The Kazakhstan based professional was sent off in the 58th minute before Guinea got a penalty in a crucial 2015 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifier played in Casablanca, Morocco on Wednesday.

The West Africans won 2-0 to qualify at the expense of Uganda Cranes who needed only a draw to break the 37 year old jinx of failing to qualify. Ugandan Fans however blamed the loss on Mwesigwa's defensive error which led to his dismissal.

Mwesigwa who regretted the loss said in football mistakes can be made by any player, regardless of their seniority and expertise in the game. He however added that the attack on his home is scary since he does not know what to expect next.

Brian Majwega, another player who equally had a bad day on the pitch is contemplating a week away from the home club KCCA FC in order to avoid the angry reactions from Cranes Fans.
