With low voter turnout characterized with lengthy delays witnessed at several polling centres, voters had to walk away from the stations only to return after minutes.
A Uganda Radio Network reporter visited Police and Kakoliye village polling centres in Moroto Municipality after 7am without trace of furniture and election materials. In Bazaar village and Lia polling stations on the outskirts of Moroto Municipality, the stations had no tables forcing the polling team to seek alternatives.
Voters who spoke to this reporter complained about the interruptions in the voting process by the commission saying this should have not been an issue since they have had several plans ahead of the day.
